PERSONNEL AND HIRING TEAM

The Carcross Tagish First Nation Personnel Team is mandated to promote health, wellness, education and traditional knowledge of our people; continue to strength our citizens capacity, economy and government. Fair and unbiased decisions will be arrived at through respectful dialog while maintaining professionalism.

 
The Carcross/Tagish First Nation Personnel Team was established to recruit Government of Carcross Tagish First Nation employees in a fair, equitable and open manner to ensure the engagement of candidates for  employment who understand and will meet the overall mission, goals and objectives of the GCTFN. 

The Personnel team is Management Board plus the following Carcross Tagish First Nation Clan appointed members.

In order to create an atmosphere of fairness and equality appointed members of the Personnel Team cannot be members of any of these other 2 branches of the government of CTFN; the Executive Council or the Justice Council. 

If at any time during the decision making process, any member of the Personnel Team is in direct conflict with the application they are to remove themselves from the meeting.  A direct conflict of interest on an application includes making decisions on the following individuals:

·       Your own

·       Your spouse

·       Your child

·       Your mother/father

·       Your aunt/uncle

·       Your grandmother/grandfather, and;

·       A possible business partner

·       Brother/Sister            

If the Personnel Team feels that at any time a member is in direct conflict, the team may request that the individual remove themselves from the meeting.
