Canadian Coast Guard Safety Notice

Canadian Coast Guard has an important safety notice for 2024 for southern Yukon lakes boaters, specifically Nares Channel, Tagish Lake and Marsh Lake.

The following buoys will not be commissioned (serviced) this season:

  • 3 buoys north of Tagish River in Marsh Lake, near the mouth of the river
  • 14 buoys in Nares River to Carcross
  • 2 buoys from Bove Island in Tagish Lake through to Ten Mile Point
