On August 11th, C/TFN and the Yukon Government co-hosted a celebration at the Tséi Zhéle/Sinwaa Éex'i Yé/Conrad Historic Site.
The celebration honoured the history of the site, which was a traditional fishing, hunting and camping area for generations, as well as a short-lived mining town.
Colleen James lead a fish filleting and smoking demonstration, with fresh whitefish from her net, Gary Johnson lead attendees in a group chorus of 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' in Lingít, and the event wrapped with a performance by the Tagish Nation Dancers.
