Oct 7: Protect Your Testimony

Did you seek compensation for your experience in Residential School?

Testimony submitted in the claims process through the IAP/ADR is scheduled to be destroyed next year unless you choose to preserve it.

(It's important to note that the records scheduled for destruction are not Truth and Reconciliation commission records.)

On Oct. 7th you can drop-in to the Clan Room at Haa Shagóon Hídi any time between 1-5 pm, either to learn more about the process, or to protect your testimony for future generations. 

We’ll have the necessary forms plus all the additional information you need to make an informed choice.

Staff will be on site help fill out forms, and counsellors will also be available as well.

This is open to anyone who sought compensation for their treatment at Residential School, regardless of whether you are a C/TFN Citizen.
